Shetland Sheepdog Association - A National Organization set up in Canada
for those people who are interested in the development, promotion, and
improvement of Purebred Shetland Sheepdogs.
- Canadian Kennel Club - The
Canadian Kennel Club is the primary registry body for purebred dogs in Canada.
We currently recognize over 160 breeds and as a non-profit organization are
dedicated to "encouraging, guiding, and advancing…the interests of
purebred dogs and their responsible owners and breeders in Canada" and
"promoting the knowledge and understanding of the benefits which dogs can
bring to Canadian society…"

Magazine - Dogs in Canada is published 12 times a year, while the
award-winning Dogs in Canada Annual comes out each November. The Annual is
eagerly anticipated by those who breed dogs, looking to purchase a dog, as well
as the many thousands of Canadians who simply 'love' dogs and want to know more
about them.

 American Shetland
Sheepdog Association - The American Shetland Sheepdog Association (ASSA) is
a Member Club of the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Parent Club of the
breed. It is a national, not for profit, club founded in 1929 as an
organization of Sheltie fanciers devoted to the betterment of the Shetland
Sheepdog breed.
