November 2006 ::
- To finish off our local show season we attended the Moncton Kennel Club
Shows and Maritime Group Seven Specialty held at the same venue. What a way to
finish our show season.
It was the first show for Paige, Lyricisle Braeworth
Titlepaige as she turned 6 months just a few days before the show. Her
first ring experience was in the MG7 Puppy Sweeps where from the junior puppy
class Paige was awarded Best in Sweeps. Her best friend Ira, Ch Lyricisle's Ira Hayes had to settle for Best of
Opposite in Sweeps to Paige.
- Then onto the MG7 Veteran Sweeps where our beautiful
Katie, MBISS MBIS MBPIS Ch Lyricisle's Kiss Me Kate
CD was awarded Best Veteran in Sweeps. MG7 Specialty had great results for
us with our beautiful Katie winning Best in Specialty from the Veteran's Class.
It was a great heart warming win and one we will treasure forever. This is
Katie's second of her multiple BISS wins from this class.
- At the all breed show on Sunday, little Paige
was awarded BW for 5 points and Ira was BOS, BPIB
and onto BPIG. Our puppies really had a great weekend and to top it all off
Katie our Veteran was BISS ......what a wonderful
finish to a very successful show season. We were awarded Canadian Championships
on 5 of our dogs....four as puppies and lots of exciting Puppy in Groups and
Group Placements....and a Specialty win......
October 2006 ::
- We attended the Island Dog Show and had a great time. Our 7 month old Ira,
CH Lyricisle's Ira Hayes, won BW on the Friday of
the shows to finish his Championship in style. Ira was also BPIG and RBPIS. We
were thrilled and have high hopes for this little guy.
- Meadow, BPISS Ch Shelhaven Lyricisle Meadowlark
won a Group 3 at the same show. Meadow then won a Group 1 the next day and was
awarded RBIS. On the final day of the show Meadow picked up a Group 2 so it was
a wonderful weekend.
- I had the pleasure of judging the Atlantic Puppy Awards and was thrilled to
see such wonderful quality puppies. We had 4 puppies that qualified but passed
on their entries when I was offered the judging opportunity.
September 2006 ::

We have an exciting litter of 4 sired by Am Can Ch Enclave
Legends Night Echoes and out of our amazing Salem,
Brody grand daughter and Katie great grand daughter. We have our very first tri
babies and are thrilled. Two tri girls, a sable boy and a sable girl.
- We took our baby Ira, Lyricisle's Ira Hayes to
his first show on the day he turned 6 months. He picked up 9 points and two
BPIGs. This little guy is just breath taking and loves to show off.
Meadow, BPISS Ch. Shelhaven Lyricisle Meadowlark
came away from the same shows with 2 Group 1 and a Group 2. We were very
pleased with these two darlings.
- Our son Adam gets married and the family is
gathered together for this wonderful occasion.....truly amazing with time how 2
turns to 12.

July 2006 ::
- We were very happy to have that wonderful boy Colby, Am/Can Ch Enclave Legends Night Echoes, here
for a visit. He already has 3 champion kids here and we are hoping for more of
these adorable babies. All testing is complete and contact us for more info
concerning stud fees etc.
- Also arriving from BC is Paige. She is out of
Ch Lyricisle's Shasta Daisy and her sire is
Ch Mindalyn Go For Broke....We are so pleased with this baby
and look forward to watching her grow into a STAR. See her on our
Hopefuls Page.
- On July 11th we welcomed 4 new babies. Dam is Macey,
Ch Lyricisle Shut Up and Kiss Me and sire is another Colby,
Macdega Raconteur. We have 1 boy and 3 girls. Beautiful flashy babies.
- We attended the Lady Slipper Shows and were very pleased with our dogs.
Lucas, Ch Lyricisle BiRiver Time 2Change, at his
last show as a puppy took a Group 2 and another BPIG. Nikki, Lyricisle's Nickelodeon, was BW for another 5
point win. She now has 10 points under two judges.
- Then we were off to the Fredericton Kennel Club. Nikki, Lyricisle's Nickelodeon,was BW again for another
5 point win to finish in style. She also picked up 3 BPIGs.
Lucas, Ch Lyricisle BiRiver Time 2Change, won his
second Group 1 ...co owner Norma Hamilton and we are thrilled with this boy.
June 2006 ::
We are pleased to announce the arrival of 6 new babies on June
20... 1 boy and 5 girls (click on image to enlarge)
- We attended the CSSA National in Ottawa and the dogs we took did very well.
Rory, Lyricisle's Roar Of The Ring, was alone in the
Bred By Class, so placed first, however his litter sister
Nikki, Lyricisle's Nickelodeon, placed second in a
lovely Junior Bitch Class of 8.
Katie, MBIS MBISS MBPIS CH Lyricisle's Kiss Me Kate CD,
made all the cuts to the finals for Breed judging and she also won the 7-10
Veteran Bitch class in the Veteran Sweeps.
At
the Banquet we received a beautiful plaque honoring Jamie,
MBPIS Ch Lyricisle's Jack Of Diamonds, for achieving Top Sheltie Puppy
2004. We enjoyed every minute of the National , especially spending time with
our friends, new and old. Thanks to everyone for their wonderful comments on
our three dogs as well as the munchkins we had along for the ride and of course
the donations to the lunch money pot at the Puppy Sweeps...so much fun.
- We attended the Oromocto Shows on Saturday, June 10 and
Lucas, Ch Lyricisle BiRiver Time 2Change, was WD and
BPIG to finish his Canadian Championship at 10 1/2 months. This is a truly
beautiful boy who will have an exciting Specials Career. We, along with co
owner Norma Hamilton, are very proud of Lucas and love him to pieces.
The next weekend we went to PEI and took Nikki , Rory, and Meadow. They did just great.
Nikki, at her first all breed show picked up a BW
for 5 points. She was reserve in two other shows.
Rory finished his Championship at 8 1/2 months with
a BW and in his first show as a Special, a BB and Group 3rd and BPIG.
Meadow, BPISS Ch Shelhaven Lyricisle Meadowlark,
picked up two BB, a Group 1,a Group 3 and a BOS out of the four shows she was
entered in. Meadow is only 19 months and just
starting to coat up but her exceptionable qualities were not to be denied.
May 2006 ::
- We attended the Tantramar Kennel Club Shows and Rory, Lyricisle's Roar Of The Ring, was WD for 3 more
points. He then picked up a RWD. Lucas , Lyricisle
BiRiver Time 2Change, picked up a RWD.
We decided to enter Rory, Lyricisle's Roar Of
The Ring, at the Dartmouth Kennel Club Show on Saturday, May14. He made us
soooo proud by winning WD BW BOS BP for 5 amazing points. This was his second
ring appearance and he showed like a real pro. And yes ... he did ROAR his
happiness...!
- At the Moncton Kennel Club Shows, Macey, Lyricisle
Shut Up and Kiss Me, went BOW BOS for 4 points to finish her Championship
which included three 4 point wins. Macey had broken her leg as a puppy and many
thanks to our wonderful vet who set the leg so well that none of us can tell
which leg it was without checking her chart. Macey left two days later to be
bred to Macdega Raconteur ...very excited for this upcoming litter.
- Lucas , Lyricisle BiRiver Time 2Change, had a
great weekend also at the Moncton Shows. On Saturday he was WD and BPIG and on
Sunday, Lucas again went WD but continued on to BW BB and GROUP 1 and of course
BPIG again ...very thrilling for us and Norma Hamilton, Lucas' co owner.
- Rory, Lyricisle's Roar Of The Ring, was entered
on Sunday and went RWD to Lucas.
- On May 7 we received wonderful news that Shasta, Ch
Lyricisle's Shasta Daisy, whelped 6 beautiful puppies sired by Ch Mindalyn
Go For Broke. Three boys and three girls. Congratulations to Shasta and co
owners, Pam and Marilynn....we are so excited about this litter and look
forward to one of these beautiful babies coming to join our family.
March 2006 ::
- At a Fun Match in Amherst N.S. we were very pleased with our puppy
Rory, Lyricisle's Roar Of The Ring, won a Group
First. Lots of really nice Sheltie Puppies in attendance as well as many
Herding Breeds.
- We attended the Truro N.S. All Breed Show for one day and were pleased with
a Reserve Winners Dog on Lucas , Lyricisle BiRiver Time
2Change ..... Macey, Lyricisle Shut Up and Kiss
Me, was Winners Bitch for another wonderful 4 point win.
Beautiful Puppies were born to our BeBe
.... sired by Shelhaven Tarantino....2 boys and 1 girl. We are excited by the
look of these babies even at this early age. Pictures coming soon ....sorry,
all are spoken for.

We lost our oldest dog Ch Lyricisle's Cover Girl,
Brinkley, at 15 1/2 years old. Our Nanny will be missed forever and she
took a huge piece of our hearts with her....
- At the first NBKC Fun Match, our little 3 month old Nikki won the Match. She is just adorable and we
appreciate the win and all the wonderful comments about this little doll.
Brother Rory was BOS and showed just like a seasoned
Special.
- In Halifax under the expert handling of Sharon Foley, Barkley another beautiful Colbypuppy won the Herding Group at a Fun Match.
Thanks to Sharon and co owners Bev and Hugh Wilson for getting this baby ready
for the Show Rings.
